Attracting Wealth Thoughts

Attracting wealth is the goal of many people, especially Americans, it would seem. We all have the nasty tendency to want the very things that seem to be just beyond our current means. We want the American dream, but the average American can't afford that dream. Not because we don't have the ability, but because we haven't tapped into that ability.

Achieving wealth is largely a mental exercise. If you can envision yourself wealthy and think as a wealthy person would, you are well on your way to attracting the wealth you so desire. The power of the human mind is truly amazing.

We are provided with the tools necessary to create great wealth; we only need to learn to use these tools properly to do precisely that. The first step you need to take is to identify your specific financial goals (keep in mind that wealth is defined differently by different people).

Then focus your thoughts on becoming the wealthy person you want to be, but be careful not to concentrate on your current financial situation. If you think like a wealthy person and act as a wealthy person would, you are far more likely to become the wealthy person you envision.

If you focus on the things you can't afford now, the things you want to do but can't, or the places you would like to visit but lack the funds, you are wallowing in your own "poverty." And the very worst part is that this is a "poverty" of your own creation. You cannot measure your self worth based on your wealth. It is a self-destructive activity that accomplishes nothing in the long run.

Focus your thoughts on where you want to be financially rather than where you are financially and you will be doing two things, adding positive thoughts that will help you attract the wealth you desire and eliminating the negative thoughts that condemn you to maintain your current level of wealth.

You must turn your positive thoughts of wealth into action. Take active steps towards your goals of financial wealth and if one fails, try another, and another, and believe that you will succeed. Eventually you will.
